Today at Accessories Circuit – Iradj Moini
We don’t buy a lot of jewelry in the U.S. Mostly because we like to keep our selection exclusive, but also because the European costume jewelry is just a step above the rest. I will say, one area in which American designers definitely excel, is semi-precious jewels. And no one does it better than Iradj Moini. He’s a genius, a jewelry hero, an eccentric…we love him! According to the very fabulous bio on his website (read it, it’s impressive):
Iradj Moini has been designing jewelry in New York since 1989. His jewelry was exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 2006 as part of Iris Apfel’s collection, and was also featured in the Trop Exhibit at the Louvre where he has three pieces in their permanent collections.
His jewelry is regularly published in various high fashion magazines. Formerly a jewelry designer for Oscar De La Renta, and with a background in architecture, Iradj’s handmade jewelry is exhibited and collected worldwide.
So, we stopped by Accessories Circuit today to visit with Iradj and see what he’s up to for Fall. Per usual, everything is insanely gorgeous.
